PT2

PT2 is a high performance and versatile industrial strength contact adhesive. Water resistant and temperature resistant to over 200°F, PT2 is designed for bonding a wide range of substrates to include PIONITE decorative laminates and veneers, fiberglass, glass, upholstery, fabrics, foam, auto headliners, cork and particle board.

Product Usage

Pionite PT2 is designed to be applied to both surfaces about to be joined. Spray an even coat of adhesive with at least 80% to 100% coverage of each surface. Allow to dry 2-4 minutes until tacky. Place the surfaces together and apply pressure evenly across the full bonding surface. For best results: Make sure that the surfaces are dry and free from dirt, grease or oil. Ensure that the adhesives and substrates are at 60°F or higher. If surfaces are porous, a second coat is recommended after the first has dried and become tacky.

Storage

After use, do not close the valve. Leave the gun and hose connected to the canister. Recommended to store canister off the floor if temperatures below 60°F.

PT8

PT8 is a high strength contact adhesive with excellent performance characteristics. Applied on both surfaces to be adhered, PT8 is a high strength, high temperature contact adhesive providing strong permanent bonds for a wide variety of substrates to include PIONITE decorative laminates and veneers, fiberglass, glass, upholstery, fabrics, foam, auto headliners, cork and particle board. As a single surface application, its high tack and repositionability make PT8 an ideal adhesive for quick temporary bonding. Formulated with extremely low VOCs to comply with CA and OTC states regulations.

Product Usage

For strong permanent bonds, apply PT8 to both surfaces to be bonded. For repositionable temporary bonds, apply Pionite PT8 evenly to one side of the substrates to be bonded. Spray an even coat of adhesive with at least 80% to 100% coverage. Place the surfaces together and apply pressure evenly across the full bonding surface. For best results: Make sure that the surfaces are dry and free from dirt, grease or oil. Ensure that the adhesives and substrates are at 60°F or higher.

PT7

PT7 is a high solids spray grade contact adhesive designed for mass production. It is suitable for permanently bonding a wide range of materials. Water resistant and temperature resistant to over 200°F. Recommended for flat work applications.

Pionite PT7 is designed to be applied to both surfaces about to be joined. Spray an even coat of adhesive on both surfaces. Allow to tack. Place the surfaces together and apply pressure evenly across the full bonding surface. For best results: Make sure that the surfaces are dry and free from dirt, grease or oil. Ensure that the adhesives and substrates are at 60°F or higher. If assembly is delayed and the adhesive becomes too dry, apply a light coating again.

PT9 is a high solids spray grade neoprene based contact adhesive designed for postforming and production efficiency. It is suitable for permanently bonding a wide range of materials. Water resistant and temperature resistant to over 200°F. Suitable for most production postforming applications.

PT11

PT11 is a versatile, robust water based contact adhesive designed to provide
strong permanent bonds on a wide range of materials to include PIONITE decorative laminates and veneers, fiberglass, glass, cork, particle board and foam. It will not attack cells in expanded styrene and other foam materials. Water resistant and temperature resistant to over 200°F.

Product Usage

Pionite PT11 is designed to be applied to both surfaces about to be joined. Spray or roll an even coat of adhesive on both surfaces. Allow to tack. Place the surfaces together and apply pressure evenly across the full bonding surface. For best results: Make sure that the surfaces are dry and free from dirt, grease or oil. Ensure that the adhesives and substrates are at 60°F or higher.

Store in clean, dry area. Protect from freezing.

PT1W

PT1W is a superior wood glue for interior woodworking such as cabinetry and furniture. Designed to bond softwoods, hardwoods and composites, it is an excellent adhesive for assembly, doweling, edge or face gluing. Its strong initial tack and strong bond strength make it excellent for wood repairs.

Product Usage

Pionite PT1W is designed to be applied to one surface then assembled and clamped for at least 30 minutes. For best results: Make sure that the surfaces are dry and free from dirt, grease or oil. Ensure that the adhesives and substrates are at 50°F or higher. Wipe all excess glue with clean moist cloth. Not recommended for Exterior use or wet, high moisture conditions.

Storage

After use, close container tightly. Store in cool dry location at 50-80°F. Protect from freezing.

PTCC

PTCC is a citrus-based adhesive cleaner designed to remove most adhesives from unwanted surfaces. Removes adhesives, oil, ink, decals, tar and similar residues.

Product Usage

Pionite PTCC is designed to remove unwanted adhesive. Spray a heavy coat over the area to be cleaned. For best results, wait 3 to 5 minutes before wiping clear. For unusually difficult jobs, apply second coat of PTCC to area after first wiping off first application coat. Do not apply new coat of adhesive until the surface is completely clean of PTCC residue.

Storage

Do not store in direct sunlight or in areas with temperatures of 120°F or greater.
